Aqaba Manufacturing and Refining Vegetable Oils Co. is committed to providing safe, high-quality vegetable oils and vegetable ghee that meet customer requirements, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and other applicable requirements, in a manner consistent with the Company's context and strategic direction.
To achieve this commitment, the Company shall:
Implement and maintain an integrated Quality and Food Safety Management System in accordance with applicable requirements, including FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP and ISO 9001, together with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements applicable to laboratory activities, Halal certification requirements, and the JFDA Trust Certification.
Understand and fulfil customer requirements and enhance customer satisfaction through consistent product quality and food safety and the continual improvement of products, processes and services.
Comply with applicable statutory, regulatory, customer, interested-party and other requirements adopted by the Company.
Establish and review quality and food safety objectives at relevant functions, levels and processes, ensuring that they are consistent with this policy and the Company's strategic direction, and monitor and update them as necessary.
Continually improve the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the Quality and Food Safety Management System and the Company's processes.
Promote a positive quality and food safety culture and ethical behavior, including integrity, accuracy, transparency, good-faith reporting of errors, risks and nonconformities, and employee participation in continual improvement.
Provide the resources, competence, knowledge, training and awareness necessary to achieve quality and food safety requirements and maintain management-system effectiveness.
Maintain effective communication concerning quality and food safety requirements within the Company and, as appropriate, with customers, suppliers, regulatory authorities and other relevant interested parties.
Top management shall review this policy periodically and whenever significant changes occur in the Company's context, strategic direction, relevant interested-party requirements or management system, to ensure its continuing suitability. The policy shall be communicated to employees, understood and applied within the organization, and made available to relevant interested parties as appropriate.
